I began my rehabilitation journey with an inpatient stay in the middle of April. While there, I participated in 3 hours of therapy a day to regain my strength and ability to get up from a chair. When I was first admitted, I couldn’t even lift my foot off the floor! The nurses were considerate and good to me. The therapists were very good and extremely helpful. After I completed my stay on the inpatient floor, I transitioned to the sub-acute unit to continue with my therapy and get stronger before I could return to my home. The therapy continued to help me build strength in my legs and I saw so much improvement! Once I was able to go home, I decided to continue with the outpatient therapy program offered here on campus because everything was very, very helpful to me and I wanted to continue to improve. My outpatient therapy is going great! When I started this process, I couldn’t get up from a chair by myself, now I am doing the steps! Having the bus available for transport is great. The driver is so kind, friendly and helpful! I would highly recommend the campus to anyone who needs rehab!
